The Mirror's Illusion is my 7th main touhou fangame. It is a full 6 stage + extra danmaku game but only has 1 difficulty option. It is intended to be enjoyed as a story based experience.

There are two playable characters. You will start with Sanae and unlock Alice later during the game.
Sanae and Alice play as one character and not as two different ones.
(The main game should take 35-45 minutes and the extra game 20-30 minutes)
 

  CONTROLS:

∎  Move with the arrows: ◄▲▼► or WASD
∎  Shoot/Confirm with: X or K
∎  Focus/Cancel with: Z or J
∎  Use bomb with: C or L
∎  Use a character special with: SPACE BAR

  GAMEPLAY:

∎  The purpose of the game is to dodge the bullets that enemies throw at you, shoot the enemies back and           collect the items they drop when you beat them.

∎  There are a total of 6 stages in the main game. Every stage has a boss fight at the end. The player has to            beat it to progress. There are some mid-bosses as well.

∎  The enemies will drop certain items that have different effects.

∎  The game contains 24 music tracks. All of them were composed by S.V.*

∎  The game contains a total of 12 characters. Their portraits were drawn by S.V.**

  OTHER INFORMATION:

​

∎  Press 0 to give up and return to menu anytime (progress will be lost).

∎  Press 1 to unlock the extra stage without playing the main game.

∎  You need 200 graze points to aquire a special.

∎  In this game, each life is worth 100 HP. Each bullet may damage the player differently.
∎  When your HP drops bellow 0, you will lose a life.

∎  Each character has their own special and bomb.

∎  The original name of the game was "The Mirror Effect Illusion" but it was changed for not making sense.

❂  Make sure your language is set to ENG! If not then hit Alt+Shift and change it. Scratch only reads ENG!!

❂  If the game has a lot of lag at the beggining, reload the page or click the green flag again.

       (should not be a problem for the download version)
❂  Bosses & enemies do NOT have a hitbox.
