Fake Invitation is my 10th mainline touhou fangame. It is a full 6 stage + extra danmaku game but only has 1 difficulty option. It is intended to be enjoyed as a story based experience.

There are four playable characters. Each one has their own story, shoot type and bomb.
(The main game should take 30-40 minutes and the extra game 15-20 minutes for each run)
 

  CONTROLS:

∎  Move with the arrows: ◄▲▼► or WASD
∎  Shoot/Confirm with: Z or X or K
∎  Focus/Cancel with: Z or J or Shift
∎  Use a Spell with: X or C or L
∎  Pause with: SPACE BAR

 

  GAMEPLAY:

∎  The purpose of the game is to dodge the bullets that enemies throw at you, shoot the enemies back and           collect the items they drop when you beat them.

∎  There are a total of 6 stages in the main game. Every stage has a boss fight at the end. The player has to            beat it to progress. There are some mid-bosses as well.

∎  The enemies will drop certain items that have different effects.

  STORY:

∎  Read the story in the manual.

  MUSIC:

​

∎  The game contains 20 music tracks. All of them were composed by S.V.*

​

∎  The game contains a total of 12 characters. Their portraits were drawn by S.V.

Features:

​

∎  Main Game: Play 6 stages one after another. Difficulty increases as you progress.

∎  Extra Stage: Play 1 very difficult stage. Continuing after dying is not allowed.

∎  Boss Rush Mode: Play all boss fights one after another.

∎  Pacifist Mode: Play the main game without the ability of shooting or using bombs.

∎  Master Mode: Play the main game without the ability of using continues.

∎  Challenges: Beat a total of 10 challenge I prepared for you.

∎  Miniskits: Watch 10 bonus events between the characters.

∎  Achievements: Complete all 33 achievements and become the master of the game.

  OTHER INFORMATION:

​

∎  There are 3 different control types. Change them in options.

∎  You can change your starting lives and bombs.

∎  You can change the look of your hitbox.

∎  You can continue as many times as you want on the main game.

❂  Make sure your language is set to ENG! If not then hit Alt+Shift and change it. Scratch only reads ENG!!

❂  It is highly recommended to play the turbowarp version (the one on itch.io).

       (should not be a problem for the download version)
❂  Bosses & enemies do NOT have a hitbox.
