The Destruction of the Moon is my 6th main touhou fangame. It is a full 6 stage danmaku game with 4 difficulties. It was the first "true" touhou fangame I made.

The website version only has 3 difficulties, LUNATIC is exclusive to the download version.
(The game should take 40-60 minutes)
 

  CONTROLS:

∎  Move with the arrows: ◄▲▼►
∎  Shoot/Confirm with: Z
∎  Focus/Cancel with: X
∎  Use bomb with: A, S and D
∎  Use a character special with: SPACE BAR

  GAMEPLAY:

∎  The purpose of the game is to dodge the bullets that enemies throw at you, shoot the enemies back and           collect the items they drop when you beat them.

∎  There are a total of 6 stages in the main game. Every stage has a boss fight at the end. The player has to            beat it to progress. There are some mid-bosses as well.

∎  The enemies will drop certain items that have different effects.

  STORY:

This game's events occur during the events of my 5th  touhou fangame (Incident in Scarlet Mansion) which takes place a little after my 4th touhou fangame  (Double Liar). The team (spoilers) came on Gensokyo a day before the events of Double Liar. This game is
also a prequel to SUiP. If you haven't played any of these it's ok, it wont change much. 
Sanae is on her way home after going shopping.  That's how the game starts.

∎  The game contains 24 music tracks. All of them were composed by S.V.*

∎  The game contains a total of 12 characters. Their portraits were drawn by S.V.**

  OTHER INFORMATION:

​

∎  Each bomb requires a different amount of bomb points.

∎  You can press C for a random bomb.
∎  In this game lives do not matter, instead you can see how many times you were hit.
∎  If you beat the 4th boss in LUNATIC with less than 30 hits you'll gain access to a secret stage!
∎  The download version has some secrets!

∎  LUNATIC mode has more spellcards.

#   Collect power (red) items to increase your power!
#   Collect score (blue) items to increase your score!
#   Collect bomb (green) items to increase your bomb points! 
      (Each bomb costs 10-20 bomb points)
#   You don't have lives but getting hit is being counted 
      and your bonus score will be decreased.
#   Collect star like items to increase your eclipsepoints
#   Each eclipse point is worth 10.000 points!!!
#   In the music room press Z to play a song.
#   Or press C to mute.
#   The Hiscore system will be updated every time a 
      player passes the previous Hiscore.

❂  Make sure your language is set to ENG! If not then hit Alt+Shift and change it. Scratch only reads ENG!!

❂  If the game has a lot of lag at the beggining, reload the page or click the green flag again.

       (should not be a problem for the download version)
❂  Bosses & enemies do NOT have a hitbox.

*The original music tracks of the touhou project were composed by ZUN.
**Some portraits were heavilly inpired by other fan-drawings of them. I do not consider wrong drawing them like this. If you are the original creator and you are unhappy with what I did, please contact me and after proving me that you are the original artist I will remove them from my game.
